Des Parry

Senior Commercial Account Executive

Since studying at the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, Des has over 35 years in the insurance industry and joined Caleb Roberts in the 1980’s where he has gained the greatest respect from his existing clients and new prospects.

Des is keen on all sport with particular preference to rugby, where he played at a high level and is presently Director of Rugby with a local Mid Wales side. He is a strong supporter and volunteer of the ‘Royal Welsh Agricultural Society’ where he helps run the International Pavilion at their July Annual Show.

Des deals with all commercial insurance and is a specialist in the agricultural sector.

Spencer Cleaves

Senior Commercial Account Executive

Spencer is one of the Company’s top salesmen, growing his own large commercial account over the past 10 years.  His hands on approach makes insurance easier for his clients, and his efficiency in dealing with claims is always appreciated.

Another of our sports fans, Spencer supports Manchester United and spends time playing football in the local leagues.

Ben Amos

Commercial Account Executive

Ben has worked from the Bromyard office since graduating from Cardiff University in 2010 with a degree in business management.  He has a varied commercial account including farms and businesses from different industries around Herefordshire and Worcestershire.  His spare time is often spent at Luctonians Sports Club having been Captain of the cricket team for a number of years, and with his young family on their smallholding on the Welsh Border.

Jeanette Fox

HR & Compliance Director

Jeanette is a person who helps in all directions of the business, from office manager to HR manager and anything in between!  She is vastly experienced in the insurance industry and a ‘go to’ person for advice.  Outside of work, she is a farmer’s wife, who keeps busy at the weekends running 2 converted barns as holiday cottages and helping on the farm (but would prefer lunch with friends in Shrewsbury instead!).

Hugh Campbell

Managing Director

Hugh has been at the Company for over 30 years, for which most of that time has been spent as Managing Director.  He continued the local family running of the business from his Father, Paul, and has been at the forefront of Caleb Roberts’ expansion within recent years.  Hugh’s spare time is spent with his young family, whilst also enjoying rugby at the Millennium Stadium or country sports.

Charlie Campbell

Director

Charlie has continued the family business from his Father, and has a large commercial account scoping from Newtown to Gloucestershire.  The account is predominantly farm based, meaning his specialist advice is sought after in the local community.  He enjoys salmon fishing and shooting, along with taking his Daughter’s horse riding on the weekends.

Ben Blower

Associate Director, Operations Manager

Ben joined Caleb Roberts in 2003, and over recent years has been the office manager in Knighton.  He is a catalyst in much of the business’s activities and is often contacted by colleagues for advice.  Ben is a Welsh rugby supporter, enjoying days in Cardiff to watch the games, but likes nothing more than spending time with his Wife & twin sons.

Hugh Campbell

Managing Director

Hugh is one of the longest serving members of Caleb Roberts, having been in the business for over 30 years.  His role is clearly split between two aspects; ensuring the longevity and success of the business and servicing a large account of long standing clients.

Hugh is passionate about keeping our independent status and working with employees who excel in their specific areas.

Charlie Campbell

Director

Charlie has been in the business for 20 years, and plays a vital role in advising the board on the direction of the business moving forward.  He has played a big part in making a number of key business decisions.

On a day to day basis, Charlie also has a large agricultural account in Mid-Wales and Herefordshire.

Robert Oakley

Rob is a former Director of Caleb Roberts, following the incorporation of Longmynd Insurance into Caleb Roberts Insurance Services in 2010.  His initial call was to ensure the success of the integration, and maintain a long standing client account.  He now acts as a consultant for the business, and continues to assist colleagues in Church Stretton going forward.

Jeanette Fox

HR & Compliance Director

Jeanette was appointed to the board in 2016, following a successful time as Associate Director.  Her key responsibilities are in employee matters and compliance, needless to say one of the most crucial aspects of our business.  She balances this with being the Office Manager in Church Stretton.

Ben Blower

Associate Director, Operations Manager

Ben joined Caleb Roberts in 2003, and was appointed Associate Director in 2014. His daily role provides assistance to Hugh in supporting a large commercial and agricultural account. Aside from that, Ben is responsible for personal lines development throughout the Company and operations management.

Ben Amos

Management Team, Marketing

Ben joined in 2010 and was appointed to the management team in 2016 having overseen a successful re-brand and launch of the brand new website. He is based in the Bromyard office, running a growing commercial and agricultural account and takes full responsibility for the successful implementation of our marketing strategy.

Des Parry

Management Team

Much like Spencer, Des operates in Wales & the Border Counties servicing a large client account.  He too assists the next generation of our sales staff with training & advice, but will also input into sales, marketing and business development.

Spencer Cleaves

Management Team

Spencer continues to develop a large commercial and agricultural account in South Wales.  He has been with Caleb Roberts for 15 years, and now assists the Management Team by training new Account Executives and maintaining business development opportunities.

Ivor Williams

Commercial Account Executive & Claims Handler

Ivor has over 25 years’ experience with Caleb Roberts, alternating his work from the Brecon & Builth Wells offices.  He is very highly respected in the local community, and local farmers regularly seek his valued expertise.

Ivor enjoys country sports, particularly hill walking.

Ann Lewis

Office Manager

Ann is the office manager in Brecon, and supports the large workforce in the office.  She has 15 years’ experience with Caleb Roberts, which means she is able to help in a number of ways.

She enjoys all sports, and is always busy on her livestock farm.

Jamie Smith

Commercial Account Executive

Jamie is our newest Account Executive in Brecon, having started in 2013.  He worked closely with Spencer and Des to learn the ropes and now has a growing account of his own.  His hobbies include football and cycling.

Nigel Nott

Office Manager

Nigel has been at the front of the Bromyard office for over 25 years, and is highly respected in the local community for his role as office manager.  He watches numerous sports in his spare time, and his Liverpool FC mug on the desk is often mentioned by our clients!

Claire Benson

Scheme Account Handler

Claire started in the insurance industry over 35 years ago, 15 years of which has been spent with Caleb Roberts.  She is responsible for managing the wholesale scheme and primarily deals with our Northern Ireland Brokers.  Claire is Chair of Governors at her local secondary school, and enjoys going to the cinema and socialising with friends.

Jamie McVittie

Commercial Account Executive

Jamie has been with Caleb Roberts for 8 Years and enjoys working with a diverse account of commercial businesses and farmers in Shropshire and surrounding areas. He lives in Shrewsbury and is Men’s Club Captain at Shrewsbury Hockey Club and also plays cricket for Condover CC.

Andrew Williams

Commercial Account Executive

Andrew has been training on the job for 18 months, completing his Foundation Insurance Test along the way.  He has been taken under the wing of Director Charlie Campbell, working closely together to ensure he receives ongoing support from the team in Knighton.

Originally from Presteigne, Andrew looks to grow his account in Herefordshire and Mid Wales over the next few years, and welcomes any new enquiries.

Chris Robson

Commercial Account Executive

Chris has brought 14 years  Insurance broking experience to the Company previously working in Powys and Shropshire.

He is a keen sportsman playing for Cobras Rugby Club and this year is President of the local Shropshire and Mid Wales Insurance Institute.
