Hugh Campbell

Managing Director

Hugh has been at the Company for over 30 years, for which most of that time has been spent as Managing Director.  He continued the local family running of the business from his Father, Paul, and has been at the forefront of Caleb Roberts’ expansion within recent years.  Hugh’s spare time is spent with his young family, whilst also enjoying rugby at the Millennium Stadium or country sports.

Charlie Campbell

Claims Director

Charlie has continued the family business from his Father, and has a large commercial account scoping from Newtown to Gloucestershire.  The account is predominantly farm based, meaning his specialist advice is sought after in the local community.  He enjoys salmon fishing and shooting, along with taking his Daughters horse riding on the weekends.

Jeanette Fox

HR & Compliance Director

Jeanette was appointed to the board in 2016 and is responsible for our compliance and complaints handling, needless to say one of the most crucial aspects.  Her key responsibility is HR and employee matters throughout the company.  Outside of work, she is a farmer’s wife, who keeps busy at the weekends running two converted barns as holiday cottages and helping on the farm (but would prefer lunch with friends in Shrewsbury instead!).

Ben Blower

Associate Director, Operations Manager

Ben joined Caleb Roberts in 2003, he is responsible for the operations side of the business IT and system to manage the smooth running of the business.  On a day to day basis Ben assists Hugh with looking after his large client account.  He is a Welsh rugby supporter, enjoying days in Cardiff to watch the games, but likes nothing more than spending time with his Wife and twin sons.

Ben Amos

Associate Director, Marketing

Ben works from the Knighton office and has a varied commercial account including farms and businesses from different industries around Herefordshire and Worcestershire.  His spare time is often spent at Luctonians Sports Club having been Captain of the cricket team for a number of years, and with his young family on their smallholding on the Welsh Border.

Des Parry

Associate Director

Since studying at the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, Des has over 35 years in the insurance industry and joined Caleb Roberts in the 1980’s where he has gained the greatest respect from his existing clients and new prospects.

Des is keen on all sport with particular preference to rugby, where he played at a high level and is presently Director of Rugby with a local Mid Wales side. He is a strong supporter and volunteer of the ‘Royal Welsh Agricultural Society’ where he helps run the International Pavilion at their July Annual Show.

Des deals with all commercial insurance and is a specialist in the agricultural sector.

Spencer Cleaves

Associate Director

Spencer is one of the Company’s top salesmen, growing his own large commercial account over many years.  His hands on approach makes insurance easier for his clients, and his efficiency in dealing with claims is always appreciated.

Another of our sports fans, Spencer supports Manchester United and enjoys playing golf when time allows.

Hugh is one of the longest serving members of Caleb Roberts, having been in the business for over 30 years.  His role is clearly split between two aspects; ensuring the longevity and success of the business and servicing a large account of long standing clients.

Hugh is passionate about keeping our independent status and working with employees who excel in their specific areas.

Charlie Campbell

Claims Director

Charlie has been in the business for over 20 years, and plays a vital role in advising the board on the direction of the business moving forward.  He has played a vital part in making a number of key business decisions.

On a day to day basis, Charlie has a large agricultural account in Mid-Wales and Herefordshire.

Andrew Brock

Sales and Business Development Director

Andy joined the Board of Caleb Roberts following a twenty year career in the insurance industry.  He has a vast experience in personnel & insurer relationship management and looks to build upon the strong foundations of our business to promote further growth going forward.  His main task is to develop sales, and our team working closely with our Account Executives to maintain the Caleb Roberts reputation in the future.

 

Jeanette Fox

HR & Compliance Director

Jeanette was appointed to the board in 2016, following a successful time as Associate Director.  She is vastly experienced in the insurance industry and is the go to person for advice.  Her key responsibilities are in employee matters and compliance, needless to say one of the most crucial aspects of our business.

Ben Blower

Associate Director, Operations Manager

Ben joined Caleb Roberts in 2003, and was appointed Associate Director in 2014. His daily role provides assistance to Hugh in supporting a large commercial and agricultural account. Aside from that, Ben is responsible for the operations management of the business.

Ben Amos

Associate Director, Marketing

Ben joined in 2010 and was appointed to the management team in 2016 having overseen a successful re-brand and launch of the new website. He is based in the Knighton office, running a growing commercial and agricultural account and takes full responsibility for the successful implementation of our marketing strategy.

Des Parry

Associate Director

Des operates in Wales ‘Bordering Counties’ servicing a large agricultural and commercial client account.  He assists the next generation of our sales staff with training and advice, but will also input into sales, marketing and business development.

Spencer Cleaves

Associate Director

Spencer continues to develop a large commercial and agricultural account in South Wales.  He has been with Caleb Roberts for 15 years, and now assists the Management Team by training new Account Executives and has a keen eye for business development opportunities.

Jamie Smith

Commercial Account Executive

Jamie is one of our sales focused Account Executives in Brecon and Builth Wells, having started working with us in 2013.  He worked closely with Spencer and Des to learn the ropes and now has a growing account of his own.  His hobbies include football and cycling.

Ewan Williams

Commercial Account Executive

Ewan operates his account in and around Brecon, working with agricultural and commercial clients. He has a keen eye for new clients and is well known through his years at Brecon Rugby Club. Ewan was Captain of the club for the famous plate win at the Principality Stadium in 2019.

Leanne Smith

Commercial Account Executive

Leanne has been in the insurance industry since 2005, enjoying roles in the financial side and as an Office Manager. She is now a key contact for Sales at Caleb Roberts Insurance, being one of our Account Executives in the Brecon Office. Leanne makes the most of the beautiful Welsh countryside when walking with her dogs and clay pigeon shooting.

Ivor Williams

Commercial Account Executive

Ivor has over 25 years’ experience with Caleb Roberts, alternating his work from the Brecon & Builth Wells offices.  He is very highly respected in the local community, and local farmers regularly seek his valued expertise.

Ivor enjoys country sports, particularly hill walking.

Nigel Nott

Office Manager

Nigel has been at the front of the Bromyard office for over 25 years, and is highly respected in the local community for his role as office manager.  He watches numerous sports in his spare time, and his Liverpool FC mug on the desk is often a conversation starter with some of our clients!

Sammy Eckley

Commercial Account Executive

Sammy has been in the insurance industry for over 10 years and has a wide breadth of knowledge. She specialises in commercial and agricultural insurance and has a passion for new client relationships. Outside of work, Sammy can be found helping out on her farm or keeping active in the local area.

Office Manager

Ann is the office manager in Brecon, and supports the large workforce in the office.  She has 15 years’ experience with Caleb Roberts, which means she is able to help in a number of ways.

She enjoys all sports, and is always busy on her livestock farm.

Claire Benson

Scheme Account Handler

Claire started in the insurance industry over 35 years ago, 15 years of which has been spent with Caleb Roberts.  She is responsible for managing the wholesale scheme and primarily deals with our Northern Ireland Brokers.  Claire is Chair of Governors at her local secondary school, and enjoys going to the cinema and socialising with friends.

Andrew Williams

Commercial Account Executive

Andrew joined Caleb Roberts Insurance Services in 2015 and quickly progressed into a sales role.  During his time here, Andrew’s account has grown significantly by focusing on our reputable service through a personal approach with clients.

Originally from Presteigne, Andrew’s account base covers from Powys to Cheshire and everywhere in between!  Constantly looking for the next opportunity, Andrew welcomes any new insurance enquiries.

Whilst working with us, Andrew successfully achieved his CII Certification and is now working towards a Diploma in Insurance, something Caleb Roberts Insurance are proud to support.

Andrew is a keen football fan and rarely misses a Welsh International game.

Chris Robson

Office Manager & Commercial Account Executive

Chris has brought a vast number of years’ insurance broking experience to the Company, having previously working in Powys and Shropshire.  His initial role at Caleb Roberts was to run our Welshpool Office and his area has now expanded to assist our Whitchurch clients.

He is a keen sportsman playing for Cobras Rugby Club and this year was President of the local Shropshire and Mid Wales Insurance Institute.

Nick Williams

Commercial Account Executive

Nick has been heading Tern Valley along with his Wife, Rosaline, for many years.  He’s overseen the growth and retention that made it into the well-respected business it is today.  In 2018, Nick felt the timing was right to bring the company under the wing of Caleb Roberts Insurance Services, now becoming the Whitchurch arm of the business.

Lucy Wilding

Commercial Account Executive

Lucy joined Caleb Roberts in 2018 and brought over 10 years’ experience in the insurance industry with her. Well known in the farming sector, Lucy looks to build on her local business relationships and develop new ones in the future. She works closely with Managing Director Hugh Campbell to assist in servicing his client account whilst also developing her own agricultural & commercial account.

Lucy is a talented hockey player and spends some of her spare time playing for Kington Ladies, when not helping out on the farm!

Anna Rogers

Commercial Account Executive

Having grown up on a family farm just outside Presteigne, Anna has great knowledge of farming life and has a local connection with the area.  Anna has been a member of Presteigne Young Farmers Club for over 13 years, where she held the position of Chairwoman aswell as other club official roles.

Anna has previously had Senior Sales roles, building client relationships and knows the importance of personal service.  Working closely with Hugh and Lucy she assists with both of their client accounts and is beginning to build her own account.

Anna also assists with the marketing and promotional side of the business alongside Ben Amos.

Outside of work enjoying flower arranging, Anna has an eye for detail which is key for her current role.
