Thursday 14th November saw Caleb Roberts Insurance host our very first charity quiz in aid of the Wales Air Ambulance. It was a fantastic night thanks to the efforts of the people who endeavored to attend, despite the adverse weather. It really was an advert on how to negate flooded roads!
We had ten teams in total with some tricky questions set by our very own resident Quiz Master, Andrew Williams. ‘Barney’s Rubble’s’ pipped a Caleb Roberts team for first place in an enjoyable and competitive event.
A raffle was held with generous prizes and a total of £187 was raised for Wales Air Ambulance. Our thanks go to those who kindly donated prizes towards the fundraising.
At the conclusion of the night, Director Charlie Campbell thanked everyone for attending and event organiser, Vicky Sharp, looks to build on the success by hosting another one in 2020, possibly in the summer!
