Caleb Roberts Colleagues Conquer Horseshoe Ridge

Following the success of our Charity Golf Day last week, a team of six colleagues surmounted ‘Horseshoe Ridge’ in the Brecon Beacons as the next of a series of fundraising events for the Wales Air Ambulance.

The weather was perfect and the group were rewarded with fine views across familiar geography. The walk started at Neuadd Car Park, on the South side of the ridge and therefore had to tackle a climb 1,000 feet in the first two miles.

Once on the top, the breathtaking scenery could be taken in whilst ascending towards the four peaks, Corn Du, Pen y Fan, Cribyn and Fan y Big. Each summit was reached through some hard work and it was a great effort to complete such a difficult challenge for an amazing cause.

The Wales Air Ambulance will have numerous call outs in the Brecon Beacons throughout the year and require our support to ensure this remarkable work continues. We have raised over £200 for this event so far and any further donations to the charity are encouraged.
